Proud to provide great care.

We coined the phrase, “new dimensions,” and named our company with it based on the belief that despite the many obstacles and setbacks we face as we go through life’s various phases, we have to find a way to make things work. This is where our home care agency comes in.

Our team strives to do our best in providing a high level of care that’s parallel to our clients’ life dimensions as well as individual needs. That way, they can live the rest of their days with strength, integrity, independence, safety, and purpose regardless of their ripe old age and physical limitations.

We communicate, listen, observe, and respond proactively, and we’re never afraid of a challenge.

Our Story

Dominique Burke (CEO/Owner) of New Dimensions Home Healthcare LLC first opened June 2018  the residential service agency is licensed through the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality. The business caters to the elderly and disabled population as well as those who have been injured on the job.

What services do you provide?

We provide activities of daily living from light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication management, wound care, transportation and overall personal care.

What is your background in home health care?

I am a certified nursing assistant since 2011, and after I graduated high school in 2005.  I worked in home health care, group homes, hospitals and assisted living facilities. I was thankful to have the opportunity to care for my grandparents before they both passed away. I was able to discover the difference it makes to be with your spouse and family rather than feel distant, isolated and confused at a facility. I see how individuals are happy and satisfied to be at home where they know their loved ones know where they are.

After graduating in 2005, I was working for in home care agencies and thought, “I would love to do this.” I wanted to be a nurse and my grandmother was a nurse, so I kind of wanted to steer in her direction.

What makes your business better than the competition?

I want to keep people out of the institutions and hospitals and keep them safe at home. We don’t focus on just the care at home, but we want to make their life purposeful.  New Dimensions want s the individuals that we serve to be able to use the capabilities that they are able to use and apply it to their home, whether it’s encouraging them to wash their dishes or encouraging them to cook a recipe that they haven’t cooked in a long time. Just being side by side with them means that we’re parallel to our clients’ needs. We don’t want to cripple our clients but instead let them know their weaknesses so they can work on them.

What do you love about the job?

I love keeping my clients happy and seeing a smile on their face when I’m coming to their house. I like that we’re providing not just care but purpose for their day and also following their needs with a care plan and helping the families.
